Abstract

Milk is a type of food that comes from animals in the form of liquid white is produced by livestock mammals such as goats are obtained with milking method. Milk contains various kinds of minerals, one of the minerals it is calcium. Calcium is a much needed mineral in the human body, the role of calcium in the body is to help form bones and teeth and measure biological processes in the body. Objective This research was conducted to determine the determination of calcium levels in milk pure goat and liquid packaged goat milk. Sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling on samples of pure goat milk and goat milk liquid packaging. The method used in this research is method atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Results of research determination of milk calcium levels Pure Etawa cross-breed goats and sample measurement results packaging obtained pure goat's milk with calcium levels of 2.04 mg/L, and milk packaged goat with calcium content of 3.34 mg/L. Shows that rate Packaged goat milk is higher than pure goat milk.
