Application of the Jigsaw Learning Model to the H2S Method of Qualitative Analysis Material to Improve the Learning Outcomes of Class X-F in SMK-SMTI Banda Aceh
Abstract
A study entitled "Implementation of the Jigsaw Learning Model for Qualitative Analysis of the H2S Method to Improve Learning Outcomes of Class X-F Students of SMK SMTI Banda Aceh has been carried out". This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students during the learning process using the Jigsaw learning model in the H2S Qualitative Analysis Method material, to determine the differences in the completeness of the learning outcomes of students in cycle I and cycle II towards the use of the Jigsaw learning model in the H2S Method Qualitative Analysis material. The subjects in this study were students of class X-F. The type of research used is classroom action research. Research data was obtained through multiple choice questions to see learning outcomes and activity sheets were used to measure the level of student activity. The results showed that the level of understanding of students based on student activity in cycle I was 88% and in cycle II was 89%, while the learning outcomes of students were obtained in cycle I by 50% and in cycle II by 87%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of the jigsaw learning model can be implemented in the H2S Method Qualitative Analysis material with student learning outcomes increasing from cycle I to cycle II, and student activities are more active.
