Measurement of Mental and Physical Work Load Using The NASA Task Load Index Method
Abstract
Workload is a concept that arises due to limited capacity in dealing with a task at a certain level. When facing a task, individuals are expected to complete it correctly and with the expected abilities. The research objective was to analyze the relationship between mental and physical workload and employee performance as measured using the NASA task load index method at PT. Alfa Scorpii Yamaha Lambaro Aceh Besar. From the results it can be concluded that there is no relationship between mental workload and employee performance at PT. Alfa Scorpii Yamaha Lambaro Aceh Besar with the low category, MD - KK of 0.166, TD - KK of 0.125, EF - KK of -0.495, and FR - KK of 0.459. There is no relationship between physical workload and employee performance at PT. Alfa Scorpii Yamaha Lambaro Aceh Besar with a low category with a value of the relationship between PD - KK of 0.201 and PF - KK of 0.106.
